This Begonia painting was a part of my “Up Close and Personal” series. When Covid hit, it made so many of us realize just how precious it is to look in a person’s eyes, to be close, to see an unmasked face. May we treasure that blessing and never take it for granted again!
Begonia flowers have had many meanings throughout different cultures. The meaning that spoke to me was gratitude. This 8” x 8” painting was created in acrylic painting on wood cradled panel on a texturized surface. Finished in a gloss varnish.
