Echinacea Flower- Acrylic Painting Day 4
Acrylic painting on 5” x 7” torn watercolor paper. Mounted on an 8” x 10” white mat board, and ready to be put into any 8” x 10” frame of your choice!
Coneflowers, or Echinacea flowers have been used all over the world to help with a wide range of illnesses and conditions and therefore symbolize strength and health. Although I am thankful for all the natural remedies God has provided on the earth, I look to Him for my healing whenever sickness comes. I have seen and experienced health through trusting in what Jesus has done on the cross.
Isaiah 53: 4-5
Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows ; yet we did esteem him smitten, stricken by God and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed.
These words have given me peace, hope and healing, and I am forever thankful for this hope we have in Christ. These flowers remind me personally of the beauty of this hope, which comes through faith.
