This original painting is a part of my Beauty For Ashes series, which is a reflection of the redemption we receive in Christ.
Each painting begins with a bottom layer of texture medium and black paint, mimicking a rough beginning or pile of ashes. On top of this dark, rough surface, layers of vibrant color bring forth the beauty of a flower. Once the flower is painted, it is completed with gold paint and gloss varnish.
Texture is still seen through the beauty of the paint as both a reminder of the rough beginning, but also an expression of hope and grace of a new beginning!
Acrylic paint, on a cradled wood panel. 8” x 8”. Finished with gloss varnish and ready to hang.

Original Paintings are carefully wrapped and shipped via USPS. Please allow several days for your order to be packaged, and choose the shipping option you prefer at check out. If you have any questions, please send me a message.
